You can find 17% of kids in US in age group of 2 to 19 falls under the category of obesity. How to Get Your Kids Moving

First things first, encourage your kids to leave TV or video games and replace these things with several physical activities. The obese kids require half an hour of exercises on a daily basis and similar the strategy for the normal kids. Encourage them to join swimming, martial arts, strength training programs and other similar activities, which require their physical involvement. Take your time to indulge yourself as well in these activities with your kids; this will also help in your obese kids and you as well to keep the obesity issue at bay. 

Most Importantly, to Reverse Obesity Trend We Must Return to a Diet of Real Food

As per research, what you actually eat makes a big different in the way you eat. In other words, the calories gleaned from refined sugars, processed foods and bread simply promote the idea of overeating. This can lead to many issues including obesity. So, it is important to revert to your diet which comprises real food. Consider organic foods, which are cooked from scratch. This will reduce the sugar consumption, which is usually the basic reason of causing insulin issues and obesity problems among kids. Consider grass finished meats, and avoid the genetically prepared foods.
